Q - What happens if I lose my remote?
Hopefully you have a spare/backup remote hidden somewhere but should you not then you can order a spare through the website.
If you do not have spares the whole unit must be sent back to DML Products cc, as your remotes are the only ones that will operate your unit! We recommend getting a ‘SPARE’ when you originally purchase the Nuck Chorris Clock to prevent this from happening.

Q - Can the criminals use another remote to disarm my unit?
NO, your remotes are the ONLY ones that can operate your unit! Ensure your remotes are kept safely away to prevent them from getting yours!

Q - I have an existing alarm, why would I need this product?
This product will keep the criminals OUT of your premises until your ‘armed response’ gets there. Criminals are NOT deterred by sirens, they simply carry on taking your stuff as they know that the ‘armed response’ take about 3 minutes or longer to get there!

Q - Can I link the Nuck Chorris Clock to my existing alarm system?
It is NOT RECOMMENDED as false alarms could occur with your existing system that would then activate the spray un-necessarily! As the old saying goes “don’t fix what ain’t broken”. 2 systems are better than one!

Q -Is the pepper spray SAFE?
YES, approved by the C.S.I.R (Centre for Scientific Innovative Research) & the S.P.C.A (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

Q - How can I treat other family members should they be affected by the pepper spray?
Move them outside into a well ventilated area & spray the “Swat Neutralizer” onto the affected areas & face, then rinse off with water & dry with paper towels or toilet paper. Alternatively wash the face with ‘dish-washing liquid’ (or any grease-cutting agent) & rinse with warm water & wipe dry with paper towels or toilet paper. Repeat this washing process until no brownish red residue is seen on the paper towels or toilet paper.

Q -What do I do if it has gone off?
Move immediately to the outside where there is fresh air & up-wind from the point of spray.

Q - Is this pepper spray similar to tears gas?
NO, unlike teargas that would contaminate your home every time you walk around & disturb the environment, the pepper spray residue, which is ‘oil based’, will settle or sink down (after a few minutes) onto the floor where it can be washed with a ‘grease-cutting agent’ like dish washer. The pepper fog (airborne particles) will disperse through air ventilation.

Q -Will it get triggered by cats?
Yes as the PIR sensor is set to a sensitivity to disallow stealth entry.

Q - If I accidentally activate the pepper spray, how will it affect my pets?
They will be affected in a similar manner to that of humans i.e. burning of the eyes, coughing & sneezing – these will dissipate with time & they will recover fully after about 1 to 2 hours.

Q -How long will the battery last if the power goes off?
If fully charged, approximately 40 hours.

Q - What makes the pepper fog so effective?
The combination of burning eyes & lungs makes it almost impossible to function normally i.e. criminals will rather vacate the premises than face being caught ‘red-handed’!

Q - Does the pepper spray leave stains?
On paper, YES! On most other fabrics, NO! Normal washing should take the pepper spray residue out altogether. Do NOT place any paper items or valuables in(or under ) the direct ‘spray path’ of the unit’s tubes (spray distance is approximately 3 meters from the opening{end} of the tubes). Residue with sink down after a few minutes.

Q - How quickly can I get a Nuck Chorris Box?
ALL units are hand made & also tested for at least 3 days on standby & test activations are done every 24 hours. This quality control process therefore makes the delivery time approximately 3 to 5 weeks from time of order/payment.

Q - I suffer from Asthma, how will it affect me?
Effects will be the same as a normal person but may last longer than the normal person. Full recovery occur but if symptoms remain or you are unsure medical treatment is strongly advised.

Q - Does it have a panic button?
Yes, pushing & holding the * button for 3 seconds or longer will activate the spray – Be AWARE that you may also be affected by the spray but you do have the upperhand in that you know when it’s going to spray & where your escape routes are to fresh safe air – remember that the perpetrators may be armed & although they might not be able to see or walk =they can still squeeze a trigger i.e. get away as fast as possible & do not return until the police or your security company has checked your premises.

Q - Can I download the “User Guide” or “Instructions” from the website?
NO, we will rather email this to you, as we do not want the criminals to know how the system operates (criminals also have computers and are very resourceful in carrying out their crimes!). For this very reason, please keep the instructions received with your purchased unit, in a safe place.
